Saperavi's first international competition
Competition
With the initiative and organization of association "Georgian Wine" Saperavi's first international competition will be held on December 15-17 of the current year.
The aim of the competition is to enhance awareness of Georgian, red-grapes vine varieties, Saperavi and various wines made from it all over the world.
Wines produced by any technology from the Saperavi grape variety, from any country and region of the world can be presented at the competition.
Competition samples will be examined by jury comprising Georgian and foreign experts. The head of the jury is a well-known British journalist and wine writer Andrew Jefford.
The competition is supported by the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture and the National Wine Agency.
