Training on the Regulations of the Viticulture-Winemaking Industry
The trainings intended for the persons interested in winemaking, and wineries will be held throughout the country on the initiative of the National Wine Agency and with the support of "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit" (GIZ).
All the issues related to wine production will be discussed at the trainings: the main tasks of the Agency and the legal framework; registration of a wine company in the Agency; viticulture and vineyard cadastre; recording the vintage and production of balances; regulation of non-grape alcoholic beverages; quality control; stages of certification, laboratory, labeling; the role of the Agency in marketing activities.
The trainings cover all the regions of Georgia and attendance is free. One-day trainings will be held from June 1 to July 31, at 17 locations across the country, both in the viticulture regions of Eastern and Western Georgia.
Registration will be carried out online, through the official website of the National Wine Agency. No more than 40 participants will attend each training.
The Trainings are also supported bაy the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and local self-government bodies.
