Co-financing of marketing costs - the state program for the promotion of Georgian wine
Documentation for participation in the state program for the promotion of Georgian wine is ongoing.
If you are an entrepreneur exporting Georgian wine to international markets and conducting marketing activities, you can receive co-financing of up to 300,000 GEL through the state program for the promotion of Georgian wine.
To participate in the program, the combined wine export volume and marketing expenses across all regions (Asian, European, American, etc., excluding Georgia, Swami, and CIS countries) or in no more than two regions selected by the beneficiary must exceed the amounts from the previous year.
If no marketing expenses were incurred during the previous calendar year and reporting period, and no wine was exported, the last recorded marketing expenses and volume of exported wine from the past three years will be considered.
The state program for the promotion of Georgian wine provides co-financing for marketing activities aimed at the following goals:
- Marketing events in network-type facilities
- Branding of shelves in wine shops, placement in trade catalogs, tastings
- Hiring international companies for proper product positioning in wine shops
- Media campaigns, product advertising in the media, and online wine sales platforms
- Participation in Georgian wine promotion events
- Advertising on social networks
To participate in the program, you must submit the following by August 30, 2024:
- Completed application form
- Copy of identity document
- Notice from the Revenue Service confirming no tax debt
- Bank details
Applications can be submitted electronically at info@wine.gov.ge or delivered in person to the National Wine Agency (32 Marshal Gelovani Avenue).
