Georgia Will Host the First Exhibition at the Bordeaux Center for Wine and Civilizations
From late July 2017, in the newly created Bordeaux Center for Wine and Civilizations, Georgia will be the first organizer and host of the great event dedicated to viticulture and winemaking for three months - it was announced by the Prime Minister of Georgia at the government session. Giorgi Kvirikashvili assessed the fact as an important achievement and emphasized that Georgia has the opportunity to introduce Georgian culture, Georgian wine and the country\'s potential to the world once more.
“This year, wine civilization exhibition will be organized the first time in the Bordeaux Center for Wine and Civilizations and Georgia will be hosting the fair as the cradle of wine civilization and wine country. This is a very important event. From late July to October, Georgia will be hosting the fair together with Bordeaux, where, different informational introductions will be organized, there will be maxim information about our country, our ancient culture, Georgian wine and art. Introduction of Georgian wine at the fair will be lead by the Minister of Agriculture. Due to the special importance of the event, I would like to ask all the agencies to cooperate with Mr. Levan Davitashvili in order to make Georgia appear from the best angle. It has a great importance in terms of raising international awareness of our country and getting acquainted with our ancient culture. This is a big achievement that in the Bordeaux Center for Wine and Civilizations, Georgia will be the host of the first exhibition year. I want to congratulate everyone for this achievement. This was probably unimaginable years ago, but today, it has become possible, which is a great achievement,” - mentioned the Prime-Minister before the government session.
