Qvevri Wine Introduction in Berlin
Different wines of 8 Georgian Qvevri wine producing companies were introduced at the international exhibition, The Artisan Wine Fair “RAW Berlin”.
The opening of the fair was attended by the general counsel of Georgian Embassy in German Federal Republic, Elguja Khokrishvili and the representative of National Wine Agency, Elene Kiknadze.
“Participation of Georgian wines in the fair gives Qvevri wines the unique opportunity to be introduced in wide scales on international level and representatives of wine field can get acquainted with them. Participation of Georgian wines in “RAW Berlin” is one more step towards the growth of Qvevri wine publicity and seeking potential importers. The guests of the fair had opportunity to taste Qvevri wines, learn the ancient traditions of Qvevri wine-making and the history and culture of the country”-stated Elene Kiknadze.
With National Wine Agency support, the following Qvevry wine producer companies were introduced at the fair: “Gotsa Family Wines”, “Satsnakheli”, “Nika\'s Marani”, “Our Wine”, “Vartsikhe Wine Cellar”, “Brother\'s Cellar”, “Tibaani”, “Natenadze Wines”.
The organizer of the fair is the famous wine expert, international wine magister Isabel Lejeroni (France). With her invitation, Georgian Qvevri wine was introduced at the international natural wine fairs: “RAW London” in the UK, “RAW New York” in the USA and “RAW Berlin” in Germany.
