Georgian Wines Were Awarded with Silver and Bronze Medals in Poland
In Krakow, Poland, the 14th international fair, “EnoExpo 2016” was organized, with National Wine Agency support, 13 Georgian wine-maker companies participated: “Vaziani”, “Winery Khareba”, “Askaneli Brothers”, “Telavi Wine Cellar”, “Kakhuri”, “Besini Wine Cellar”, “Wine Man”, “Corporation Georgian Wine”, “Shilda”, “Dugladze Wines and Spirits”, “Maranuli”, “Pure Cellar” and “Qimerioni”.
In the degustation competition held within the framework of the fair, the following four wines of two Georgian companies were awarded by silver and bronze medals:
“Gotsa Wines” company, “Tavkveri 2014” -Bronze;
“Telavi Wine Cellar” : “Reserve 2007” - Silver; “Kondoli Wine-yards 3” - 2012 – Silver; “Satrapezo 10 Kvevri 2013” - Silver.
On the last day of three-day fair, Georgian wine and cousine combination was organized, Khachapuri was baked and the guests and participants had opportunity to taste it.
At the fair, wine companies held business negotiations with native importers and wine professionals. Presentation of Georgian wine at the fairs of this kind helps popularization and publicity raise of Georgian wine on the markets of East European countries.
Poland is one of the strategic export markets for Georgian wine, , National Wine Agency organizes different marketing activities during the year. The country has maintained it\'s place in the five of Georgian wine exporter countries for many years.
According to data of 10 months 2016, over 1,81 mil. Bottles of wine have been exported Georgia to Poland, that is 44% higher, than the similar data of the last year.
