115 tons of grapes are already delivered in Racha-Lechkhumi region
According to data of October 10, 10:00, 115 tons of grapes (Mujuretuli and Aleksandrouli) were picked and delivered in Racha-Lechkhumi region. Income of the population exceeded 736 thousand GEL.
Due to the special significance - preserved appellations – according to the governmental decision, the subsidy is issued for Khvanchkara varieties - Aleqsandrouli and Mujuretuli - 1 kg - 2 GEL. Wine companies pay viticulturists 5 Gel for 1 kg Mujuretuli and Aleksandrouli, total coast of the grapes is 7 Gel.
Vintage Coordination HQ in Ambrolauri municipality was opened on October 9. 6 reception points have been opened in Racha-Lechkhumi region for today – 3 in Ambrolauri and others in the villages (Chrebalo, Khvanchkara and Bugeuli) 12 companies are in Racha and receive grape harvest of Racha-Lechkhumi region.
For the protection of variety accuracy, ampelographers are involved in the vintage process.
According to the preliminary data, the harvest of 700-800 tons of Mujuretuli and Aleksandrouli will be processed in Racha this year.
Vintage continues in Kakheti region. According to data of October 10, 10:00 am, 113,5 thousand tons of grapes have been processed in Kakheti region. Income of viticulturists has reached 132 mil Gel since the start of the harvest.
