Georgian Wine Represented at a Major Exhibition in Southeast Europe
With financial support from the National Wine Agency, 16 Georgian wine producers participated in the international exhibition of wine, food, spirits and tourism, Wine Vision by Open Balkan 2026, held in Belgrade, the capital of the Republic of Serbia.
The exhibition serves as an important international platform for Georgian wine producers, as participation helps them find new trading partners, expand export markets and establish Georgian wine in international markets.
Held annually in Belgrade, it is one of the largest exhibitions in Southeast Europe. It traditionally brings together approximately 500 producers from around 30 countries worldwide. It provides a unique space for wine industry representatives, distributors and importers to establish new partnerships.
The exhibition was attended by Levan Beridze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic.
Georgian producers also received support for their participation in Wine Vision by Open Balkan 2026 from the Embassy of Georgia in the Hellenic Republic, which also provides diplomatic representation in the Republic of Serbia.
Raising awareness of Georgian wine and promoting it in international markets is one of the National Wine Agency’s priorities. Since 2013, the Agency has actively conducted marketing and advertising campaigns in the United States and countries across Europe and Asia, helping to increase Georgian wine’s export potential and enter new markets.
