Data of export of 8 months of wine and alcohol beverage
According to data of National Wine Agency, 2016 August statement is the following: 28 156 547(0.75l) bottles of wine have been exported Georgia to 46 countries of the world, that is 42% higher than the similar data of the last year.
In the period under review, 64,8 mil USD worth of wine have been exported, that is 16% higher than the similar data of the last year.
Growth in the period under review is notable as in the countries of the European Union as in China and other traditional markets: China-184%(3 368 361), Ukraine-75%(3 042 192), Belorussia- 47%(667 656), Russia-45%(14 664 610), Poland- 34%(1 367 960),Estonia- 39%(413 364), Kyrgyzstan-107%(163 961),USA-10%(171 316), Japan-12%(101 448),UK-65%(67 522),Latvia-9%(772 926) and etc.
In August of the current year, China replaced to the second place in the five of Georgian wine exporter countries,
The first five of the exporter countries is the following: Russia(14 664 610), China(3 368 361), Ukraine(3 042 192), Kazakhstan(2 287 826) and Poland(1 367 960).
In addition, 4 804 910 bottles (0.5l) of brand has been exported in 16 countries worldwide, that is 31% higher than the similar data of the past year. Totally, 11,03mil USD worth of brand has been exported, the growth compared to the similar data of the last year exceeded 12%.
Totally, wine, brand, Chacha, wine material, brand on tap and brand alcohol export income in the period under review exceeded 108,7 mil USD. According to the data of 8 months of the last year, the indicator was 82 mil USD.
