Georgian Wine - National Wine Agency

With the financial support of the National Wine Agency and organised by the Agency’s contracted marketing company, ff.k Public Relations, a Georgian wine tasting was held on the German island of Sylt. 
The presentation of Georgian wine was led by Nils Lackner, a prominent and renowned sommelier on the German wine market and lecturer. 
The event was attended by 35 wine enthusiasts and professionals, who had the opportunity to taste 10 different Georgian wines. Georgian cuisine was also presented as part of the tasting. 
The National Wine Agency has been cooperating with the marketing company ff.k Public Relations since 2021. As part of the campaign, tasting seminars are held in various German cities for wine professionals, representatives of the trade sector and consumers; Georgian wine is showcased at international exhibitions; targeted advertising and media campaigns are conducted; and wine tours to Georgia are organised for members of the media, wine professionals and sales sector representatives. 
Germany continues to demonstrate strong growth in Georgian wine sales. From January to August of this year, more than 1 million litres of wine were exported from Georgia to Germany, representing a 29% increase compared to the same period last year.
