As part of the international Berliner Wine Trophy competition, a Georgian wine presentation and tasting was held for wine journalists, representatives of the HoReCa sector and academia, and wine professionals invited to attend the competition. Guests had the opportunity to taste wines from various regions of Georgia.
Following the presentation, the National Wine Agency hosted 130 members of the Berliner Wine Trophy international jury at a Georgian restaurant in Berlin.
The events held in Berlin, the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, were led by Ana Godabrelidze, Chair of the State Tasting Commission of the National Wine Agency, and Irakli Cholobargia, the Agency’s Event Organization Manager.
The events organised by the National Wine Agency aimed to introduce a professional audience to Georgia’s centuries-old wine culture, its unique winemaking traditions and the diversity of its indigenous grape varieties.
