Showcase of Georgian Wine and Cuisine Held in Tokyo
With the financial support of the National Wine Agency and organized by its contractor marketing company, “Red Bridge”, a showcase of Georgian wine and cuisine was held in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.
In a specially arranged space at Tokyo's Aoyama Farmers’ Market, guests had the opportunity to explore and sample Georgian wine and cuisine. The event featured around 20 Georgian wines, along with Georgian dishes for visitors to taste.
Aoyama Farmers’ Market is one of Tokyo's prominent farmers' markets, focusing on high-quality produce. It is frequented by wine consumers, as well as HoReCa sector representatives and chefs.
The purpose of the event was to introduce Japanese consumers to Georgian wine, the diversity of its grape varieties, and the country's 8,000-year history of winemaking.
Japan is one of Georgian wine's strategic export markets, where the demand for high-quality products and authentic, distinct flavors is growing. Promotional activities in the Japanese market help boost the recognition and export potential of Georgian wine, as well as enhance its competitiveness in the international market.
