Georgian Wine to Be Showcased in Major Events across Three Japanese Cities
Georgian wine tastings and seminars, organized as part of a “Road Show,” will take place in the Japanese cities of Sapporo, Sendai, and Tokyo from April 7 to 13.
These events offer Georgian wine producers a valuable opportunity to connect with potential importers, distributors, HoReCa sector representatives, and wine professionals, all within a single platform.
Such international platforms enable companies to showcase their products while introducing Japanese consumers to Georgia’s centuries-old winemaking heritage, distinctive grape varieties, and rich traditions—an integral part of the world’s cultural heritage.
Japan is one of the strategic export markets for Georgian wine. In 2025, exports to Japan reached up to 200,000 liters—an increase of 42% compared to 2024.
The Japanese market is distinguished by strong demand for high-quality products and a growing interest in authentic, distinctive flavors. In this context, Georgian wine—defined by its diversity of taste and traditional production methods—holds a clear competitive advantage.
