Within the framework of the "State Program for Promoting the Popularization of Georgian Wine", five companies received co-financing from the National Wine Agency
This year within the framework of the "State Program for Promoting the Popularization of Georgian Wine", five Georgian wine-producing companies received co-financing in the amount of 224.3 thousand GEL - "Villa Mosavali", "Chelti Winery", "Tiko Estate", "BG Wines" and "Askaneli Brothers".
20 applications were submitted to the program, of which only the above-mentioned five companies met the requirements.
The volume of wine exported to target markets by companies participating in the program, amounted to 676,685.75 liters in 2025, which is 20% more than the same figure in 2024.
According to the terms of the program, companies have significantly increased their export volumes to the American, European, and Asian markets as a result of targeted marketing activities.
The "State Program for Promoting the Popularization of Georgian Wine" was approved by the Government of Georgia in September 2021 with the aim of increasing the export potential of Georgian wine and diversifying priority markets.
The program is being implemented by the LEPL National Wine Agency, under the coordination of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
Notably, the Agency provides co-financing of marketing expenses only for those companies that export to priority markets in various countries of the world, except for the CIS and GUAM countries.
