With the financial support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of the Agency's contractor American marketing company "Colangelo & Partners", three articles on Georgian wine will be published in the March print issue of one of the most competent and authoritative American wine magazines, "Wine Spectator".

Georgia is featured on the cover of the magazine and is given a full advertising page, which is particularly important for the promotion and awareness of Georgian wine in the strategic American market. The online version of the magazine is now available.

The first article, “Georgia in the Spotlight,” is dedicated to a review of Georgian wine.

The wines of Georgia seem to be having a moment. The Eastern European country is benefiting from a notable increase in tourism to the home of an 8,000-year-old wine culture, while its wide range of indigenous grape varieties, distinctive winemaking style and hearty cuisine provide fertile territory for adventurous palates,” the article notes.

The author of the article, the magazine's senior editor James Molesworth, also talks about the second season of the EMMY-winning multilingual series "DROPS OF GOD" on Apple TV, where Georgian wine is in the spotlight. The third article presents the scores received by Georgian wines. James Molesworth selected 56 Georgian wines for tasting, of which ANDRIAS GVINO’s Khikhvi Kakheti 2023 received the highest score of 93. 18 of the 56 wines from 23 producers received 90 or more points on Wine Spectator’s 100-point rating system, which is an excellent result (https://www.winespectator.com/articles/alphabetical-guide-to-georgian-wine-033126).

Wine Spectator has been published since 1976 and is considered one of the most influential and popular publications on American wine and lifestyle among wine enthusiasts and professionals. Its print-run reaches 400,000, and including online publications and various platforms, the number of readers is up to 3 million.
