With the aim of diversifying Georgian wine markets and increasing export potential, Georgian wine was presented at the prestigious French wine and gastronomy festival "Vin & Arts" with the support of the National Wine Agency and organized by "Le Pont Caucasien," a contractor company of the agency.
The festival, which was held in the town of Théoule-sur-mer, is attended annually by thousands of guests, including wine professionals and representatives of the HoReCa sector.
Georgian wine was presented to the festival guests by Ilia Kakhoidze, an enologist working in France and the head of the company "Le Pont Caucasien".
One of the main directions of the National Wine Agency is the promotion and raising awareness of Georgian wine in international markets. Since 2013, within the framework of promoting Georgian wine, the agency has been implementing targeted advertising and marketing campaigns to diversify markets, including in a country famous for winemaking, such as France, where demand for Georgian wine, especially Qvevri wine, is constantly growing. According to the data of 9 months of the current year, 111 thousand bottles of wine were exported from Georgia to France, which is 71% more than the figure of the same period last year.
With the aim of increasing the export potential of Georgian wine and diversifying markets, with the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, in the 9 months of 2025, Georgian wine was presented at 21 exhibitions/festivals and about 220 tasting seminars in the USA, as well as in Europe and Asia, in a total of about 20 countries.
