Up to 3,000 tons of various grape varieties have been processed in Racha, the largest share of which is Alexandrouli and Mujuretuli.
More than 1,400 winegrowers harvested the crop, and their income from the sale of grapes reached 23.5 million GEL. 60 wineries were involved in the grape receiving and processing process.

"This year, a record amount of grapes was processed in Racha, which is almost 80% more than last year's harvest. This year, the grapes in Racha were of exceptional quality, which gives reason to say that the 2025 harvest of Racha wine will be exceptional and of high quality," - noted the Chairman of the National Wine Agency, Levan Mekhuzla.

In order to stimulate the involvement of the private sector in the grape harvest process in the Racha region and to organize the harvesting of the crop, a subsidy program was implemented by the decision of the government. All companies that purchased and processed at least 3 tons of Alexandrouli and Mujuretuli grapes grown in the "Khvanchkara" microzone and paid the winegrower at least 8 GEL receive a subsidy. The amount of the state subsidy received by wine companies in the Racha-Lechkhumi region is 4 GEL for both 1 kg of Alexandrouli and 1 kg of Mujuretuli grapes.
As of October 20, 326.4 thousand tons of grapes have been processed in Georgia, including 320 thousand tons in Kakheti, up to 3 thousand tons in Racha, and the rest in various viticultural regions of Georgia.
