10.10.2025

With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the Consulate General of Georgia in Milan, Georgian wine was showcased at the 8th International Wine Festival “Milano Wine Week 2025” in Milan, Italy.
During the 9-day festival, which focuses on wine industry professionals, consumers, media, and commercial sector representatives, several events were held to present Georgian wine.
The National Wine Agency’s Event Manager, Irakli Cholobargia, conducted a presentation and a masterclass about Georgian wine for wine professionals, importers, retail network representatives, and media. “Walk-around” format tastings were also held.
The presentation of Georgian wine at the festival was attended by the Consul General of Georgia in Milan, Natalia Kordzaia.
Traditionally, the festival is attended by more than 5,000 wine industry professionals and consumers from Italy and various countries around the world.
Participation in such events is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of Georgian wine among wine professionals and consumers.
One of the main directions of the National Wine Agency’s activities is the promotion and enhancement of awareness of Georgian wine in international markets. Since 2013, as part of efforts to support the promotion of Georgian wine and to diversify markets, the Agency has been carrying out targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in the markets of the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia. With the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, in the first nine months of 2025, Georgian wine was presented in around 20 countries at 21 exhibitions/festivals and approximately 200 tasting-seminars.
