Polish Wine Professionals Visited Georgia
With the aim of promoting the growth of Georgian wine exports to the Polish market, a tour of Polish wine professionals was organized in Georgia by the National Wine Agency and its contractor marketing company, People PR.
The 8-member group included wine importers, representatives of the commercial sector, and members of the contractor marketing company People PR.
Within the framework of the tour, the guests visited the Kartli and Kakheti regions, where they toured wineries, learned about Georgian wine-making technologies, and tasted Georgian wines produced both by classical and traditional methods.
A Georgian wine tasting event was also held in Tbilisi for the Polish guests, featuring various wines from 15 Georgian wine producers. Georgian winemakers received evaluations and recommendations from the Polish professionals.
Poland is one of the strategic markets for Georgian wine and has consistently maintained its place among the top five countries importing Georgian wine. According to data from January to September of the current year, nearly 5 million bottles of wine have been exported from Georgia to Poland, marking a 13% increase compared to the same period last year.
