Georgian Wine - National Wine Agency

Through the joint organization of the Embassies of Georgia in the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Finland, and the National Wine Agency of Georgia, a group of eight Swedish and Finnish wine professionals visited Georgia.
The group included well-known representatives of the media, sommeliers, and the gastronomy sector. The main purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with Georgia’s wine culture and to further promote its recognition in Sweden and Finland.
During the five-day tour, the guests received detailed information at the National Wine Agency about the ancient history and traditions of Georgian wine and vine culture. They also visited wine-producing companies and small wineries in various regions of Georgia, where they were introduced to the unique winemaking technologies and tasted different styles of Georgian wine.
The participants of the wine tour held in Georgia will share their impressions with the local population through various platforms, which, in turn, will further contribute to the promotion of Georgian wine in Sweden and Finland.
