As of September 19, 64,000 tons of grapes have been processed in the Kakheti region.
Around 4,500 grape growers have delivered their harvest to wineries.
Of the grapes processed by wine enterprises, approximately 29.3 thousand tons are Saperavi, about 28.3 thousand tons are Rkatsiteli, and the remainder consists of various other grape varieties.
A total of 425 wine companies/wineries are registered with the Vintage Coordination Headquarters, of which 163 are already involved in the harvest process.
The Vintage Coordination Headquarters operates around the clock. All resources are mobilized to ensure that grape growers can deliver their harvest without interruption.
