Harvest in Kakheti Traditionally Started from Dedoplistskaro Municipality
As of September 2, wine enterprises have processed 3,500 tons of grapes.
The harvest will gradually begin in other municipalities of Kakheti, depending on the grapes reaching the appropriate condition.
Approximately 200 wine companies are registered with the Coordination Headquarters, and they will participate in the grape receiving and processing procedure.

Other wine grape varieties permitted under the Law of Georgia “On Vine and Wine” – at GEL 1.20 per kilogram;
Non-standard and damaged/or diseased grapes – at GEL 1.00 per kilogram.
No subsidies will be provided to private wine companies.
