An Additional Hotline Will Be Launched During the 2025 Harvest Process
In order to ensure the organized implementation of the 2025 harvest, the Harvest Coordination Headquarters hotline – 0322 193 283 – will be launched. Information related to the harvest will also be available through the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture's hotline – 1501.
"The state continues to support grape-growing farmers to ensure the uninterrupted sale of the grape harvest. As soon as the harvest begins, the Coordination Headquarters hotline will be activated and will operate 24/7 to provide prompt responses to the questions and issues raised by grape growers and wine producers. The additional hotline will further facilitate the smooth operation of the harvest process," said the Chairman of the National Wine Agency, Levan Mekhuzla.
The Harvest Coordination Headquarters, which will operate 24 hours a day, is located in the village of Gurjaani, Gurjaani Municipality.
According to the decision of the Government of Georgia, in 2025, subsidies will no longer be issued to private wine companies. The surplus grape harvest will be purchased by the state-owned enterprise Harvest Management Company LLC. The purchase prices have been set as follows: Saperavi grapes harvested in the Kakheti region – 1.50 GEL, Other wine grape varieties permitted by the Law of Georgia on Vine and Wine – 1.20 GEL, Non-standard grapes with a sugar content not exceeding 18% – 1.00 GEL, Damaged/Diseased grapes – 1.00 GEL
