Georgian Wine - National Wine Agency

With the financial support of the National Wine Agency and organized by the agency’s contracted German marketing company, ff.k Public Relations, a group of German wine sommeliers visited Georgia.
The ten-member group of wine professionals visited Georgian wine-producing companies and cellars in Tbilisi and Kakheti, where they tasted various Georgian wines representing different styles.
Germany, the largest wine importer in Europe, was added to the list of strategic markets for Georgian wine in 2020 and has since maintained a stable position among the top ten export destinations.
To promote Georgian wine and enhance its export potential, the National Wine Agency began its cooperation with the German company ff.k Public Relations in 2021. The active promotion campaign continues this year as well. As part of the campaign, tasting seminars are being held in various German cities for wine professionals, representatives of the wine trade industry, and consumers. Georgian wine is featured at international exhibitions, and targeted advertising and media campaigns are being carried out. Additionally, wine tours to Georgia are organized for media representatives, sommeliers, and professionals from the sales sector.
