The presentation of Georgian wine took place in Slovenia at the "Orange Wine Festival."
With the support of the National Wine Agency, six Georgian wine producers participated in the international festival of amber wines, "Orange Wine Festival," held in the town of Izola, Republic of Slovenia.
The "Orange Wine Festival" was established in 2012 and takes place several times a year in different countries around the world.
The participation of Georgian wineries in this international festival provides an opportunity for Georgian wine to be presented on a large scale, both to consumers and to international wine experts and professionals in the wine trade industry.
The festival was attended by over 70 winemakers from the following countries: Georgia, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Greece, Czech Republic, and China.
Georgian entrepreneurs also received support from the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Slovenia.
It is noteworthy that one of the main objectives of the National Wine Agency’s activities is the promotion and increasing the recognition of Georgian wine in international markets. Since 2013, as part of its efforts to promote Georgian wine, the agency has been actively conducting advertising and marketing campaigns in the United States, European countries, and Southeast Asia to diversify markets.
