7 month data of wine and alcohol beverage export
According to National Wine Agency data, for July 2016, 23 932 067 bottles (0,75l) of wine have been exported Georgia to 44 countries worldwide, that is 42% higher, than the similar data of the past year.
In the period under review, 55,3 mil USD worth of wine has been exported, that is 16% higher, than the similar data of the past year.
In the period under review, growth is remarkable as in the countries of European Union, as in China and other traditional markets: China-152%(2 475 557), Belorussia-122%(575 166), Ukraine-72%(2 595 947), Russia-50%(12 748 273), Poland-29%(1 190 926), Estonia-57%(379 650), Kyrgyzstan-107%(163 966), Germany-21%(174 166), Japan-12%(1 011 448), Czechia-542%(76 988), UK-44%(58 618) and etc.
The first five of the exporter countries is the following: Russia (12748273), Ukraine (2595947), China (2475557), Kazakhstan(1924046) and Poland(1190926).
Among the origin wines, the leaders of export are: \"Kindzmarauli\"-3 210 280 bottles, \"Mukuzani\"-1 230 522 bottles, \"Tsinandali\"-1 016 107 bottles, \"Akhasheni\"-518 170 bottles, \"Khvanchkara\"-169 371 bottles and etc.
Also, 4 303 645 bottles (0,5l) of brand has been exported to 16 countries worldwide, that is 32% higher, than the similar data of the past year. Totally, 9,9 mil. USD worth of brand has been exported, the growth compared to the similar data of the past year is 11%.
Totally, wine, brand, Chacha, wine material, brand on tap and brand alcohol export income in the period under review is 92,3 mil USD. The data of 7 months of the past year was 70,7 mil USD.
