04.03.2025

In order to increase the export of Georgian wine to the German market, with the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, a large-scale campaign will be carried out in 2025, led by the marketing company "ff.k Public Relations."
Germany is the largest importer and consumer of wine in Europe and, at the same time, one of the potentially growing strategic export markets for Georgian wine.
As part of the campaign, tasting seminars will be held in various cities in Germany for wine professionals, representatives of the wine trade sector, and consumers. Georgian wine will be showcased at international exhibitions, and targeted advertising and media campaigns will be implemented. In addition, wine tours will be organized in Georgia for representatives of the media, sommeliers, and the sales sector.
As part of the planned events, the first presentation of Georgian wine in Germany this year will take place from March 16-18 in Düsseldorf, at the world’s largest international exhibition, "ProWein Düsseldorf." With the support of the National Wine Agency, 24 Georgian wine producers will participate in this event.
Through consistent collaboration between the National Wine Agency and Georgian wine producers, it has been possible to create a growing trend in the export of Georgian wine. In 2024, nearly 1.3 million liters of wine were exported, representing a 30% increase compared to the figures for 2023.
In addition to Germany, the strategic export markets for Georgian wine include the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, the Baltic States, China, South Korea, and Japan.
