Qvevri wine producers' cellars participated in an exhibition held in the Italian city of Bologna
With the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, nine qvevri wine producing companies participated in the international natural wine exhibition “SLOW WINE FAIR” held in the Italian city of Bologna: “Andrias Wine”, “Manavi Winery”, “Kolagis Marani”, “Anapea”, “Doremi”, “Our Wine”, “Naperebi winery ”, “Gotsa Wine” and “Niabi Winery”.
The exhibition was attended by about 1,000 winemakers from 29 countries around the world. Along with Italian wines, wines from France, Spain, Germany, and Austria were also presented. Various thematic conferences and master classes related to the wine industry were held within the framework of the exhibition. Traditionally, the exhibition was attended by thousands of guests, including wine professionals and representatives of the trade sector, which is important for the popularization of qvevri wine, the search for potential importers by winemakers, and the growth of exports.
"SLOW WINE FAIR" was held for the fourth time. Georgian wine cellars participated in the exhibition for the first time.
Georgian entrepreneurs also received support from the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Italy to present their wines at the exhibition.
One of the main directions of the National Wine Agency's activities is the promotion and increase of awareness of Georgian wine in international markets. In order to diversify wine markets, the agency carries out targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in the USA, Europe and Asia.
