With the support of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine will soon be presented in Tokyo, Madrid and Paris
In 2025, the inaugural presentation of Georgian wine will take place in Tokyo, Japan, with the backing of the National Wine Agency. This event will showcase the unique qualities of Georgian wine.
Following the event in Japan, Georgian wine will be introduced in Spain. The National Wine Agency will facilitate the participation of Georgian wine companies in the Madrid Fusión 2025 Gastro Congress, held in the Spanish capital. This event will also feature a tasting seminar dedicated to Georgian wine. The Georgian stand at Madrid Fusión 2025 will be organized by the Georgian National Tourism Administration, highlighting both Georgian wine and its culinary traditions.
In early February 2025, Georgian wine companies are set to take part in the RAW Wine International Natural Wine Exhibition and the VineExpo Paris International Wine and Spirits Exhibition in Paris, France.
With the financial and organizational assistance of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine will be prominently featured in key markets in 2025, including the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, the Baltic countries, China, South Korea, and Japan. Georgian producers will engage in all significant international wine and alcoholic beverage exhibitions.
In 2025, the initiative to promote Georgian wine in key international markets will persist, supported by an enhanced budget totaling 17.4 million GEL, reflecting an increase of 1.4 million GEL compared to the previous year's budget.
It is important to highlight that in 2024, the export of wine and spirits generated a remarkable revenue of 565 million USD, representing a 24% increase over the figures recorded in 2023.
