The budget for the Georgian Wine Promotion Program for 2025 has been established at 17.4 million GEL, reflecting an increase of 1.4 million GEL compared to the previous year's budget.
With the backing of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine will be prominently showcased in key strategic markets in 2025, including the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, the Baltic states, China, South Korea, and Japan. Various events will be organized by the contractor companies associated with the National Wine Agency. Georgian producers will also take part in all significant international exhibitions dedicated to wine and alcoholic beverages.
Furthermore, the “State Program for Promoting Georgian Wine” will persist, under which marketing expenses will be co-financed for companies exporting to priority markets and various countries worldwide, excluding those in the CIS and GUAM regions.
As part of the state initiative to promote Georgian wine production domestically, wine exhibitions, competitions, and festivals will be organized across Georgia, which is crucial for enhancing wine tourism and consumer culture.
It is noteworthy that last year, the export of wine and spirits generated a record revenue of 565 million USD, representing a 24% increase compared to the same figure in 2023.
