In 2024, Georgia's exports of wine and spirits reached a value of 565 million USD, reflecting a 24% increase compared to the same timeframe in 2023.
During the previous year, Georgia exported approximately 95 million liters of wine, generating revenue of 276.1 million USD across 72 countries globally. This represents a 6% increase in volume and a 7% increase in revenue compared to the same period in 2023.
Significant growth in exports was observed in several countries: Poland experienced a 12% increase (6.7 million liters), Germany saw a 30% rise (1.28 million liters), the USA had a 32% increase (1.2 million liters), Lithuania grew by 11% (707 thousand liters), Great Britain surged by 42% (425.6 thousand liters), Turkey increased by 62% (538 thousand liters), Azerbaijan rose by 34% (237 thousand liters), Canada grew by 16% (198 thousand liters), Israel had a modest increase of 2% (314 thousand liters), the United Arab Emirates saw an 80% rise (70 thousand liters), and South Korea experienced a 26% increase (72.5 thousand liters), among others.
Additionally, 48 million liters of alcoholic beverages were exported to 56 countries, marking a 53% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Revenue from the export of alcoholic beverages reached approximately 289 million USD, reflecting a 47% increase.
