A large-scale event for the presentation of Saperavi wine took place in Poland
With the support of the National Wine Agency and the organization by the Agency's contracted marketing firm, "People PR," a tasting seminar titled "Saperavi Experience: Secrets of Georgia's Red Treasure" was held as part of the General Assembly of the Association of Polish Sommeliers.
More than 100 local sommeliers attended the event held in Pszczew, Poland, which was chaired by Ketevan Frangulaishvili, the head of agency contractor company "O-Lille". The participants got acquainted with Georgian wine culture, history, traditions and modern industry.
To enhance the visibility of Georgian wine and diversify export markets, various marketing events are conducted throughout the year in Poland - one of the strategic markets for Georgian wine. These events are supported financially and organizationally by the National Wine Agency.
It should be noted that between January and September of this year, Georgia exported 4.5 million liters of wine to Poland, representing a 12% increase compared to the same period last year.
