To promote the growth of Georgian wine exports to the Polish market, a tour for Polish wine professionals was organized in Georgia by the National Wine Agency in collaboration with its contracting marketing company ‘’People PR’’.
The group comprised wine importers and representatives from the company "People PR".
As part of the tour, the guests visited Georgian wine-producing companies in the Kakheti region, where they learned about winemaking technology and explored a selection of Georgian wines. A Georgian wine tasting event, referred to as the "Walkaround Tasting," was held for guests in Tbilisi. This event showcased a selection of wines from 20 Georgian wine-producing companies. Georgian wine producers received evaluations and recommendations from Polish professionals.
"We assembled a group of high-level importers interested in Georgian wine. They are acquiring extensive information and assessing the potential of Georgian wine in Poland, a strategic market for Georgia. I believe that Georgian wine possesses significant potential for sales growth in the Polish market. Export volumes are increasing annually, and 2024 is shaping up to be a promising year for Georgian wine. This trip will enable us to formulate a successful strategy for Georgian wine-producing companies in the Polish market."-  CEO of "People PR," Kamila Vardin-Kopera, noted.
Poland is one of the strategic markets for Georgian wine, consistently ranking among the top five exporting countries of Georgian wine for several years. In Poland, various marketing events are conducted throughout the year with the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency.  From January to September of this year, Georgia exported 4.5 million litres of wine to Poland, representing a 12% increase compared to the same period last year.
