With the support of the National Wine Agency, a comprehensive presentation of Georgian wine was conducted in Seoul.
The event featured a professional master class and presentation attended by 300 invited guests, including wine industry experts, sommeliers, buyers, media representatives, and influencers. Mr. Tarash Papasqua, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia in the Republic of Korea, was present at the large-scale presentation of Georgian wine in Seoul.
Approximately 15 Georgian wine producers representing 40 various denominations of wine were featured at the tasting. The event also included a master class focusing on the pairing of Georgian wine with Korean cuisine.
The presentation of Georgian wine in Seoul was organized by the Korean marketing company "Wine21.com," a contractor of the National Wine Agency. ,,Wine21.com’’ is the largest online wine portal in the Republic of Korea, developed by industry experts to provide users with comprehensive information on wines available in the Korean market. The company also carries out PR and marketing activities.
In the Asian region, the Republic of Korea, alongside China and Japan, represents a key strategic market for Georgian wine. Various marketing events are conducted with the support of the National Wine Agency. This event format was held for the third time in the Republic of Korea.
It should be noted that with the support of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine producing companies actively participate in such prestigious international exhibitions as "Seoul International Wine and Spirits Expo" and "Daejeon International Wine Festival".
