A presentation showcasing Georgian wine was held in Amsterdam
With the support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of the agency's contractor company "Wijnimport Bleeker", a Georgian wine tasting-seminar was held in Amsterdam, the capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The event was attended by David Tkemaladze, Deputy Chairman of the National Wine Agency, David Solomonia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Giorgi Tevzadze, Advisor to the Chairman of the National Wine Agency.
"In order to enhance the awareness and export potential of Georgian wine, it is crucial to organize similar events. These events provide Georgian entrepreneurs with the opportunity to conduct wine tastings, master classes, and presentations, thereby effectively informing the invited guests about the rich history, culture, and thriving modern wine industry of Georgia"- stated David Tkemaladze.
Local wine experts, sommeliers, representatives from the commercial sector, HoReCa representatives, and members of the media attended a Georgian wine tasting event. A total of 150 individuals were present, where a selection of 150 wines from 18 Georgian wine companies was showcased.
One of the primary objectives of the National Wine Agency is to promote and enhance awareness of Georgian wine on the global market. Since 2013, the agency has implemented targeted advertising and marketing campaigns as a means to diversify market opportunities and promote Georgian wine.
