Georgian wine producing family wineries participated in the exhibition held in Los Angeles.
With the backing of the National Wine Agency, seven wine producing family wineries showcased Georgian wines at the "RAW Wine LA" exhibition, in United States of America.
The exhibition attendees were introduced to the wines of Georgian wineries, including "Iago's Wine," "Mushkudiani Winery," "Pataridze's Rachuli," "Zurab Kviriashvili Vineyards," "Anapea," "Gotsa's Wine," and "Iberieli," along with the ancient traditions, culture, and history of Georgian wine production.
Producers of high-quality natural, organic, and biodynamic wines convene at the esteemed "RAW Wine" exhibition (The Artisan Wine Fair). This illustrious event is organized by Isabelle Legeron, a renowned French wine expert. The inclusion of Georgian wines in this prestigious international exhibition not only elevates their prominence but also facilitates the discovery of potential importers and enhances export opportunities.
This year, approximately 100 wine producers from 14 countries took part in the exhibition. The participating countries included the USA, France, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Italy, Canada, and several others.
It is important to highlight that the United States is a crucial market for Georgian wine, and significant efforts have been made to promote it. Alongside the presentation of Georgian wine at tastings, international exhibitions, and with the support of the National Wine Agency, a media campaign was launched in the USA. An advertising clip was produced for broadcast on the esteemed American television network, CNN. Additionally, CBS, one of the highly-rated television broadcasters in the country, featured an extensive story on Georgian wine entitled "Ancient Vines". Furthermore, image articles have been published in various prominent print and electronic publications including CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Men's Journal, Imbibe, Wine-Searcher, SOMM TV, Forbes, and Wine Enthusiast.
