A presentation of Georgian wine was held in Verona, Italy
Two Georgian wine producer companies and 25 family wineries participated in the renowned exhibitions "Vinitaly" and "Orange Wine Festival" hosted in the city of Verona.
Participation in these exhibitions is crucial for diversifying and promoting the export market for Georgian wine. These events bring together wine professionals and trade representatives from various countries around the world.
"Vinitaly" has been held in Verona since 1967 and is recognized as one of the most significant international trade fairs for wine and spirits. This prestigious event takes place annually, attracting the participation of approximately a thousand companies from 60 countries worldwide.
The "Orange Wine Festival," an exhibition showcasing amber wines, is organized multiple times each year in various countries worldwide. In this year's edition held in Verona, a total of 87 wineries from 11 different countries participated. These countries include Georgia, Italy, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Austria, Slovakia, Croatia, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic.
It should be noted that one of the primary focuses of the National Wine Agency is the promotion and dissemination of knowledge about Georgian wine on international markets. In an effort to diversify the markets, the agency has been actively conducting advertising and marketing campaigns in the USA, Europe, and Southeast Asian countries since 2013 as part of their promotional efforts for Georgian wine.
