Georgian Wine - National Wine Agency

A tasting-presentation of Georgian wine was held in Zurich, the capital of Switzerland, which was jointly organized by the National Wine Agency, "Georgian Wine House" in Zurich (GeoHauss GmbH) and Europe's leading wine magazine "Vinum" (www.vinum.eu). The event was led by the editor of magazine "Vinum- Miguel Zamorano (https://bitly.ws/ZkrJ).
David Tkemaladze, Deputy Chairman of the National Wine Agency, attended the event.
"Professional tasting of Georgian wine and a master-class in the field of winemaking were held in Zurich with the support of the largest magazine in Europe - "Vinumi".  The event served to raise popularity and promote Georgian wine on the Swiss market. More than 70 invited guests, including local industry experts, representatives of the HoReCa sector, journalists and importers, attended the presentation of Georgian wine," said Davit Tkemaladze.
As Davit Tkemaladze stated, Switzerland has emerged as one of the important export markets in recent years, where a number of marketing activities have been carried out in order to promote and increase popularity of Georgian wine.
Among the marketing activities carried out in Switzerland, it is worth noting the "Georgian Wine Forum" held in Bern; In the Ethnographic Museum "Ortsmuseum Hongg" in Zurich, the permanent exhibition of the ethnographic genre "Georgia-8000 harvests" dedicated to Georgian viticulture and winemaking; Participation of Georgian wine producers in the exhibition "Expovina" and others.
