October 4th, 2015 Georgia is Celebrating “Georgian Wine Day”. The events will take place in the following Regions: Tbilisi, Telavi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Ambrolauri, Ozurgeti and Gori.
The program as follows:
12.00 PM, Republic Square - Concert, Georgian wine tasting and different shows will take place, tents which will represent different Georgian wine companies, additionally traditional Georgian Qvevri wines will also be presented.
The events will start at the same time in different regions.
The restaurants, hotels and Supermarkets are involved in different activities, there will be Georgian wine tastings and gifts for the guests which will be symbolically handed over to celebrate the mentioned day.
\"Kakheti Winemakers Guild\" is organizing Wine Festival \"Telavino- 2015\", a Georgian wine, grapes, the combination of cultural traditions will be promoted.
Georgian Wine Day is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Wine Agency.
