Mtatsminda Park hosted the wine festival "New Small Wineries on the Big Arena"
The wine festival "New Small Wineries in the Big Arena" - event supported by the National Wine Agency and organized by Wine Club of Georgia, was held in Mtatsminda Park, Tbilisi.
The event mainly hosted wineries beggining their activities. "One of the main activities of the National Wine Agency is promoting the development of medium and small family wineries. The segment of small wineries has been actively developing in recent years. As of today, hundreds of new wineries are operating, producing exceptional quality wine, which attracts tourists and wine lovers. Without the development of small wineries, the development of Georgian winemaking can not be imagined. It is pleasant that small wineries are developing all over Georgia, which is visible at this festival. The fact that the festival creates great interest is indicated by the increased number of this year's participating wineries and visitors," said Levan Mekhuzla.
The festival “New Small Wineries in the Big Arena"" was held for the first time in 2016. Initially, the number of participants was up to 20, and this year, the products of up to 40 wine producers from all wine-growing regions of Georgia were presented at the festival. Participating in the festival allows wineries to increase their exposure and give more wine professionals the opportunity to taste their wines.
The guests of the festival had the opportunity to taste different styles of Georgian wines, to get comprehensive information about the wineries.
