“ff.k Public Relations” Consultant, Svenia Gunter: "Wine tours are a good opportunity to spread knowledge about Georgian wine culture"
With the support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of the Agency's contractor German marketing company "ff.k Public Relations", journalists, influencers and bloggers working on wine from Germany visited Georgia.
As a part of the visit, the guests visited Georgian wine-producing companies in Kakheti and Kartli, where they got introduced to Georgian wines and Georgian wine-making technologies. The impressions and evaluations of the tour participants are published in German publications and various blogs, which facilitates increasing the awareness of Georgian wine in international markets.
"Such tours with journalists, influencers and bloggers are very important as it is an opportunity to spread knowledge about Georgian wine culture. Journalists write various articles about Georgian wine for consumers, influencers publish blogs and information about it on social networks. They have a large group of followers who are young people. Members of the group include journalists, who sometimes write for a media, which may be read by comsumers who are a little bit older and, on the other hand, influencers who do it for younger people," said "ff.k Public Relations" Consultant Svenia Gunter.
Germany is the largest importer and consumer of wine in Europe, which has emerged as one of the potentially growing strategic export markets for Georgian wine.
In order to diversify and increase awareness of Georgian wine markets, the National Wine Agency started cooperation with the German marketing company "ff.k Public Relations" in 2021 and it still continues this year with active events.
