Among them, up to 14 thousand tons of Rkatsiteli, 10 thousand tons of Saperavi, 1.1 thousand tons of Kakhuri Mtsvane and the rest are grapes of various varieties.
More than 2,700 winegrowers handed over the harvest to wine enterprises.
260 wine companies are registered in the vintage coordination headquarters, which will be gradually involved in the vintage process.
Along with this, the submission of grapes damaged by the hailstorm and strong wind on September 2 is proceeding smoothly. 3077 tons of damaged grapes were processed by the state wine enterprise “Harvest Management Company” LLC. The growers hand over the damaged grapes to “Harvest Management Company” LLC for 90 tetri. Collection of harvested grapes is currently taking place at 6 locations in the following municipalities: Telavi (2 locations), Sighnaghi, Kvareli and Gurjaani (2 locations).
