Georgian wine tasting was held in Amsterdam with the support of the National Wine Agency
With the support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of the Georgian wine importing company "Bleeker Wijnimport", a Georgian wine tasting was held in Amsterdam, the capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Within the framework of the mentioned event, which is particularly important in terms of increasing the awareness and export potential of Georgian wine, the products of 20 Georgian wine companies, medium and small wineries were presented.
Georgian wine tasting was attended by local wine experts: sommeliers, representatives of the commercial, HoReCa and media sectors, about 150 people in total. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands David Solomonia also attended the event.
The presentation of Georgian wine was held in two parts: a general presentation, where the invited guests received information about Georgia's wine-growing regions, the variety of grape varieties, winemaking technologies and other issues, and the second part was Georgian wine tasting (WalkAround Tasting). The representatives of the wine producing companies introduced their products to the guests.
