The Georgian Wine Festival was held in Krakow, Poland
The Georgian Wine Festival was held in Krakow, Poland, under the joint organization of the National Wine Agency and the Polish marketing company "Malinova".
"The purpose of the event was to strengthen cooperation with large importing companies and chain markets on the Polish market. Accordingly, the audience of the festival and the participating companies were determined taking into account the above-mentioned goal", said Tamta Kvelaidze, head of the marketing and public relations department of the National Wine Agency, who represented the National Wine Agency at the mentioned festival.
Representatives of such large chain markets and wine importing companies participated in the event, such as: Makro Cash&Carry; Biedronka; Vininnova; Zasada Group, Food&Wine, Dom Wina and others. In total, 120 people attended the festival.
The products of 8 Georgian wine producers, including small wineries, were presented, which were introduced to the guests by the company's representatives.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Poland Diana Zghenti attended the event.
Poland is one of the strategic markets of Georgian wine, which has steadily gained a place in the top five exporting countries of Georgian wine. In order to maintain the growing rate of export of Georgian wine, an active marketing campaign is underway in one of the largest exporting countries, Poland, this year as well.
