Students of the International Vine and Wine Organization in Georgia
Students of the wine management master's program of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) are in Georgia and are getting acquainted with Georgian wine culture and modern winemaking.
Students visited the museum of the National Wine Agency, where they were hosted by Irakli Cholobargia, advisor to the chairman of the National Wine Agency, who held a presentation on Georgian wine culture.
As part of the tour, the students will visit Kartli, Kakheti, where they will learn about Georgian wine-producing companies, kvevri production technology, and will taste different types of Georgian wines.
Students of the Master's program get to know the field of winemaking in different countries.
The visit of OIV wine management master program students to Georgia is important in terms of promoting and increasing awareness of Georgian wine and wine culture internationally, as the group members represent different countries of the world.
The International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) has included Georgia in the list of countries to be visited in the mentioned training program since 2016.
