About 70 representative of wineries of the region attend the one-week training course.
Participants receive information from industry specialists on various topics, including the basics of viticulture, vineyards’ cadastre, drafting the export documentation, wine labeling, marketing and certification.
Solid knowledge of the mentioned topic is the most important factor for the development of small wineries. After completing the professional training course, participants will be awarded certificates.
The professional training course is implemented with the involvement of the Kvemo Svaneti regional service.
It should be noted that the training course precedes the second wine festival planned in Ambrolauri in July of current year, within the scope of which the representatives of Racha-Lechkhumi wine enterprises and small wineries will have the opportunity to offer their products to the European sommeliers, importers and Georgian exporters promoting the region's wine, invited to this festival. The Racha-Lechkhumi Wine Festival is being held with the support of the National Wine Agency and its purpose is to promote the development of local viticulture and winemaking.
