Georgian Wine - National Wine Agency

The project "Georgian Winemaker Women Without Borders" was carried out in Krakow on December 3-4, 2022 with the support of the National Wine Agency. The event dedicated to the promotion of Georgian women winemakers in the wine industry was held during two days at the Radisson Blu hotel.
 Within the framework of the project, which was organized by the association "Women in the Wine Industry", a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Georgian and Polish winemaker women, presentations, tastings/master classes dedicated to Georgian viticulture and winemaking were held. The guests of the event had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the wine samples of Georgian winemaker women, their production technologies and methods.
The event was attended by representatives of local sector, sommeliers, experts, influencers and journalists working on the topic of wine.
Poland is one of the most strategic countries for the export of Georgian wine, according to "Eurostat" data, the Polish wine market is one of the fastest growing among European countries, and according to the data of the eleven months of 2021, 7.1 million bottles were exported to Poland, which is 20% more than the  similar indicator of the previous year.
