With the support of the National Wine Agency, 24 Georgian wine-producing companies are participating in the international exhibition "EnoExpo 2022" in Krakow, Poland
At the competition held within the framework of the exhibition, Georgian wines won gold, silver, and bronze medals:
Gold - "Marani Saperavi Bio2020" (Telavi wine cellar);
Silver - "Rkatsiteli" (Chateau Napareuli); "Rkatsiteli Qvevri 2019" (Ascaneli company), "Saperavi 2020" (Marani Elizbari 1918);
Bronze - "Mtsavene Kisi 2021" (Elizbari Winery 1918), "Satrapezo Qvevri 2018" (Telavi Wine Cellar), "Mukuzan Premium 2019" (Ascaneli Company), Marani Bruti 2020 (Telavi Wine Cellar).
Within the framework of the exhibition, under the organization of the marketing company "People PR", a contractor of the National Wine Agency, a tasting of wines made from the Georgian grape variety, made from Kisi, was held.
Zurab Beridze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Poland, attended the exhibition.
Poland is one of the strategic export markets of Georgian wine, where, with the support of the National Wine Agency, several events are held throughout the year. The events aim to popularize Georgian wine and increase its export potential.
According to the data for 10 months of the current year, up to 7 million bottles of wine were exported from Georgia to Poland, the increase compared to the same period last year was 50%.
