Promoting the growth of Georgian wine exports to the US market is a priority of the state
With the support of the National Wine Agency, representatives of the American company "Georgian House of Greater Washington" and Georgian wine producers discussed the issues of promotion and marketing strategy of Georgian wine in the US market.
In particular, the main focus was the conjuncture of the US wine market, such aspects of the marketing strategy as product branding, advertising, and the proper presentation and delivery of the uniqueness and quality of Georgian wine to the American consumer.
The discussion will support Georgian manufacturers in developing a strategy for exporting to the US market.
Representatives of large Georgian wine-producing companies and small wine cellars participated in the two-day seminar held in Tbilisi.
Considering the growing trends in wine consumption, the USA is a strategic market for Georgian wine exports. The measures implemented by the National Wine Agency in recent years helped to increase the awareness of Georgian wine in the USA, which was reflected in clear results - in 2021, the historical maximum of exports - more than 1 million bottles of wine - was recorded. In addition, the US market is one of the most expensive segments for Georgian wine, where the price of a liter of Georgian wine exceeds 6 USD. The growth trend of Georgian wine export continues this year as well.
