Georgian wine tasting was held in Warsaw with the support of the National Wine Agency
A tasting seminar of Georgian wine was held in Warsaw, Poland, with the support of the National Wine Agency and the agency's contractor marketing company “Peope PR”. The wines of 12 Georgian wine companies were presented at the event.
The tasting, led by famous wine expert, sommelier and wine school founder Szymon Milonas, was attended by Polish sommelier, wine distributors and representatives of famous restaurants.
During the event, guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture, history and modern industry of Georgian wine.
Poland is one of the strategic markets for Georgian wine, which has a stable place in the top five exporters of Georgian wine. In 2021, Georgian wine exports to Poland exceeded 7 million bottles, an increase of 34% compared to 2020. Exports are growing this year as well: 2.4 million bottles were exported in January-April, an increase of 30%.
